We would like to invite you to a hybrid seminar on Innovation in the Food Industry, online and from the stage of the Harpa Conference Centre in Iceland.
In this seminar leaders in agribusiness, food-tech, academia and investment, will discuss core questions, including how will we sustainably feed ten billion people? How will Singapore meet the challenge of tripling domestic food production by 2030, and how can Iceland gain increased value from its resources? See full agenda here above.
The future of food and food security is an urgent question everywhere – from the Arctic to the Equator, and beyond. There is no question that international cooperation is important to seek opportunities in innovation and breakthrough technology in food production that can address this issue.
The event is inspired by Singapore’s “30 by 30” goal and by two recently published reports on Icelandic Agriculture and Fish. Food Security is a UN issue of great global concern and an opportunity for Icelandic and Singaporean businesses.
