The event is inspired by Singapore’s “30 by 30” goal and by two recently published reports on Icelandic Agriculture and Fish. Food Security is a UN issue of great global concern and an opportunity for Icelandic and Singaporean businesses.
Moreover, the Icelandic foodtech company Marel recently increased its operation in Singapore and hopefully the First Lady of Iceland, H.E. Ms Eliza Reid, will open the Singapore branch officially, should opportunity present itself, in the not too distant future.

The event will be produced like a TV show at the prestigious venue Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík (see photo above). Harpa is a hallmark of Reykjavík, such as the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore.
